Refurbishment – Merrow, Guildford

This 4 bedroom house in Merrow was built in 1956. It needed total refurbishment and renewal inside and out from the ground up. The project involved some re-orientation of rooms, converting small 50s style spaces into large open living areas. The project included the following:

  • Brand new heating system including boiler, radiators and associated plumbing.
  • Total rewiring and placement with new fittings to the clients’ specification.
  • New windows and doors throughout including bi-fold doors.
  • We replaced a dormer window and roof section housing an en-suite bathroom.
  • Externally, the client chose paving and we constructed a matching brick built retaining wall, steps and raised paved area to compliment the stunning garden.
  • All bathroom and toilets were stripped back to walls, then plastered, tiled and their suites replaced.
  • The original kitchen was totally gutted back to bare walls. New underfloor heating was installed and a brand new kitchen was fitted with all associated tiling, decorations and appliances.
